usoverlord Posted November 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted November 27, 2019 Had this given to me today, sadly there is no scabbard. What would be the approximate manufacture date of this one. #013001
GUDMAR1975 Posted November 27, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 27, 2019 Perhaps the late 1980's. Here is mine with scabbard. I bought it from AAFES mail order. I never used it, but it has some wear. Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

sactroop Posted November 28, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 28, 2019 I do know that the serial number information for the Gerber MK II does not apply to either the Gerber MK I or the Command.
Tltt Posted November 28, 2019 Share #6 Posted November 28, 2019 The Gerber Command 2 started in production in 1979-1980, and were discontinued in the late 80's (86ish I believe, only the smaller Command I is mentioned in a 1987 catalog), if that's any help. The MkII serial numbers indeed won't work with the others, the MkII serial numbers were only kept because on of the production manager took a personal interest in them.
