EGA-DOG Posted November 22, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted November 22, 2019 For completing his 2nd enlistment with a character of "Excellent", Sgt. Rankin received Good Conduct Medal #9010. He was allowed to enlist again in 1935, as the Marine Corps lacked musical instructors.

Brian Dentino Posted November 25, 2019 Share #10 Posted November 25, 2019 What a group! Man, sure sounds like Rankin was quite the rebellious trouble maker during his early days. Maybe he was made for combat and not a "barracks boy" since it seems he turned himself around when he was sent to France? Very cool grouping and was quite the interesting read!
