Need info on Bombardier wings

Recommended Posts

I have these wings from a friend of mine. Two Bombardier wings. Both are marked "sterling".

One is two piece construction and it is marked "RB"? above the sterling. What maker?

The second is "sterling" and one piece.

Both are straight pin backed.

I get to keep the better of the two, which I believe is the two piece one. How well did I do?

I "primarily" collect Gulf War 1 patches. All branches (USA, USAF,USN, USMC & USCG) and ALL Countries..
US - Op.'s Desert Shield / Storm / Provide Comfort /Some Southern Watch - F-4G's Wild Weasels
UK - Op.'s Granby / Sabre / Warden
Canadian - Op. Desert Storm / Op. Friction
French - Daguet / Aconit
Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, South Korea, etc.
Looking for the oddities, including unfinished & flaws
I HAVE EXTRA's!! Will trade as well.

Well I would say that they are both good, the 2 piece is "LGB" (Balfour). I agree it's the better of the two !

Still looking for quality wings!

I am bored prefixing everything I say with "I think" or "in my opinion".
Everything I say is my opinion; the only thing of which I am certain is that there is very little of which one can be certain.

I think “Paul C” is spot-on with his evaluation (as usual)!

They’re both nice authentic WWII era bombardier badges... but the LGB hallmarked badge with riveted bomb commands roughly $20 to $30 more in replacement value...
