Okie96 Posted November 10, 2019 Share #2 Posted November 10, 2019 Bet it's still good. I use the little grease pots with the yellow lids for my M1.
siege1863 Posted November 10, 2019 Share #3 Posted November 10, 2019 I have the same dated can of rifle grease that I use regularly.
Okie96 Posted November 11, 2019 Share #4 Posted November 11, 2019 I don't get to a ton of shows but I don't recall having seen a can like this before. Could be wrong. Are they common and what are they worth with this amount of contents?
ccyooper Posted November 11, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 11, 2019 Common, normally priced around $15 can, can get it for around $25+- shipped, but you can always pay more.
copdoc Posted December 1, 2019 Share #6 Posted December 1, 2019 This 1962 grease still works. I've used it since late 60s. I also use the little plastic ones with yellow lids
917601 Posted December 1, 2019 Author Share #7 Posted December 1, 2019 I will add some Rifle Bore Cleaner. This stuff is for corrosive ammo ( primers). It is supposed to be water based and neutralizes the corrosive salts in the old primers which made the US pre-1954 ammo corrosive.
