Thankyou Gene

Ill box this one in glass like the other raider helmet to keep people from handling it

Thanks again my Friend

Wow, I'm not sure how you're going to contain yourself for those three weeks, I know I'd be like a kid waiting to open presents on Christmas morning!

I'm really looking forward on seeing/reading more on this one when you get it in hand.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that a Hood Rubber liner?

Thanks for the kind comments.

Its a rare low pressure liner, could be an SC or hood , made 1942 for sure. So falls in line nicely for a raider set. Whats awesome is that the paint thats on the inside Of the liner is the paint used on the outside of the helmet, so both are original to each other. Plus the liner looks to have been camo painted.

All will be revealed

Amazing period photo of a burlap cover with a hand made net like mine, almost identical in every way

A great helmet indeed...! I'll vote for a Hood liner at this point, I don't see the slight cut-outs on the sides for the bales like a St. Clair would have.

Congrats Dean - was this the one that was at the MAX show?

Wow that might be cooler than your other one....mike

Also yes it was bought at the Max show I think blacksmith, thanks for the kind comments.

Thanks Mike, I agree with you, but it’s a hard choice between Raider helmets

Wow I love that helmet, I really hope that you can find a researchable name because there has to be an amazing history to this one.
