NKina91 Posted November 4, 2019 Share #1 Posted November 4, 2019 Hey guys I just got this one in and wanted your opinions on it. It is in very good condition but I have heard of unissued bundles being sold in the 90's and figured this could be one of them. It has 10 holes, the chamois lining extends past the second hole, the leather is fairly soft but the russet coating on the outside is cracking that is hard to see in the photos. Let me know what you think.
NKina91 Posted November 4, 2019 Author Share #2 Posted November 4, 2019 the leather is also thin.

NKina91 Posted November 5, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted November 5, 2019 Bumping for personal interest. Sorry I have nothing of value to add If you don't mind my asking, where did you happen upon this? I got it from Bay state militaria. Great site and great people to deal with. Someone brought up they didnt like it but in hand i think it looks great. I have had a number of people say its good and a few say its bad. The arguments for it being bad were that it looks too new and the chamois lining extends past the second hole. In my research i have found good ones where the lining extends past the second hole and i have always never set judgement based on new apperance. ken88 Posted November 6, 2019 Share #5 Posted November 6, 2019 It almost certainly is a reproduction imo. You can tell they used an air force cup to mold it from.
