Hello

I have 3 Navy patches.

1. The Chevron is Midshipman? Not sure what period?

2. The round patch navy waves? ww2 era?

3. The NIS patch ( Navy Investigation Services) ? Pre ww2 patch?

Thank you

Tony

1. Yes, midshipman rate. Sorry, I don't collect these, so can't help with dating them. They have had this style for a long time, so even the newer ones "look old."

2. Not WAVES. The patch you are thinking of has a prop, and is much smaller. I have a few dozen of them.

3. I have no idea.

The CPO style anchor patch is a souvenir/ sweet hart item. Id see it to the front of a ball cap. The one with the red anchor, most likely not USN. Dont remember anything with a red anchor. Naval Investigative Service, is staffed with civilians. They dont wear uniforms. Those activities duty personnel assigned, wear no specific insignia.

Additionally, the style of the patch and construction, are non US.
