Queens Newspaper Article On Local GI WIA St Lo

A 29th Div GI who was critically Wounded near St Lo. GI was the subject of an article in a February 1945 issue of my local neighborhood newspaper, The Ridgewood Times, this article was reprinted recently,. Pfc William Muller, thanks to member 29navy, he's ID as William J Muller who was in Co I 116th Infanty.

There is a William J Muller, PFC that came from the replacement Depot on July 4, 1944 to I company, 116th Regiment, 29th Division. Was sent to the hospital (wounded) on July 15, 1944. Was dropped from the muster rolls on July 19, 1944. Doesn't look like he came back. This from the daily report files.
