Wake1941 Posted October 31, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 31, 2019 Its the 595th transportation company, its legit. Fairly sure this is the one I sold. I think its 50s/60s period
ASMIC2971 Posted October 31, 2019 Share #3 Posted October 31, 2019 Here is another example on a uniform. I had this uniform for a few years now and never ID'd the patch until I went out the Virginia ASMIC show and a dealer had one on his table. gwb123 Posted October 31, 2019 Share #5 Posted October 31, 2019 The Dragon may symbolize a "Dragon Wagon", which was slang for the big heavy equipment carriers that transported tanks and heavy construction equipment.

gwb123 Posted November 1, 2019 Share #7 Posted November 1, 2019 No problem. As you can imagine, driving these vehicles on some of the narrow roads in Germany could present quite the problem. My unit had two of them take a wrong turn and ended up in downtown Stuttgart just in time for the evening rush hour. The Polizei had to intervene to get them turned around and out of there. They were somewhat unhappy with us about that one.

Thanks I am leaning Japanese on this one, the lettering is not as clean as the US embroidery. You tend to see most of these BMU patches Japanese made
