Johnny Signor Posted October 23, 2019 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2019 Here's an image of a jacket patch I've had for quite some time w/o an ID to it, I finally nailed it down via the image posted here, a B-29 of the 500th Bombardment Group/882nd Squadron, I hope this is useful to someone, as I seem to recall it was posted here some time ago with question of what unit it was ............. Watkins Posted October 23, 2019 Share #2 Posted October 23, 2019 If another photo would turn up depicting this same design on another 882dBombSqdn ship, we would have a pretty good idea that this was an unapproved squadron insignia and not another crew patch.
