I hadn't seen this thread before, excellent collection!  Do you focus mainly only on field gear/ uniforms or do you also have the corresponding dress uniforms?

Thanks for the kind comments
My collection is focused on Combat used helmets and Field gear.

I also have a collection of Japanese Prayer flags that are vet bring backs and Japanese field gear that is attached to Vet items brought back from the pacific.

Just added this little rarity

it’s an M43 marine modified shovel, these can be seen in Harlan’s 782 gear book and he has only ever seen 2.

The spade is bolted so it is permanently extended - this one is also nice because of the marine green paint used !

This is the first one I’ve ever seen in the flesh

Really like that latest mannequin, more of a ghostly, shadowy vibe. Where is it from?

Hi ER

I totally agree, he casts a real ghostly figure, perfect for a combat marine I thought.

the mannequins are made by Hans Boodt !

Hi Dean  - I love the progression of your display over the years!  It is always fun to go back to the beginning and see where we began and where our interests take us!

Back in one of your first posts, you had this pic..  in the lower left is an M6 gas mask bag with the UNIS of F company, 2nd battalion, 23rd Marines.

Is there a name stenciled on the bag by any chance?    Thanks!  Jon
