The new War room - Part 1 “The combat marine”

Recommended Posts

2019 has been a complete blur for Me, new house, work taking up every hour and the arrival of my daughter in August. Ive not posted much, so thought I would show what Ive been working on recently when time permitted.

First up is a small corner of the war room showing my combat marine, with lots more to follow.

Ive tried every possible combination in my Arsenal of field gear and uniforms to try and perfect in my opinion the look of a true combat marine and finally come up with what I think has the look of a true infantry marine.

Every piece has the been there look I strive to collect, nothing mint here.

One of my favourite items is a vet bring back, as you can see on the mannequin there is a Japanese sword over slung on his back.

Its a very very rare Vet adapted sword thats been configured to be worn on the back, the sling is a work of pure USMC ingenuity and one rarely seen. The sword is the navy/marine type.

Marines and Japanese can be seen with swords on there back fighting in the PTO.

This is my very favourite vet bring back piece !

The rest speaks for itself - I hope you enjoy the pics as much as I have enjoyed creating this combat marine

Wonderful set-up and well displayed. One small comment, the frag grenades do not appear to be WW2 period as the fused are post war and the RFX bodies are also not period and actually may be reproductions.

Grenades have never been my thing so thanks for the heads up

Also thanks for the comments
