Brass Paratrooper Wings

Has anyone seen this one before? It's brass or bronze, looks die struck and is 1.5" long.

Yes this is a Japanese made Occupation era US paratrooper wing which is either unfinished or the thin silver wash has worn off.

It looks like those Jump Wings made after WWII in Japan during the occupation. Most were made of brass and then plated to look silver. This has the "C" catch and pinched pinback used on most of the Japanese made wings. The silver could have worn off this example. Nice find.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn't look like it was ever silver plated. Would it have been polished and worn this way or is it a sweetheart piece? I also have a full size British made brass aircrew wing that was never plated.
