Also bought the standard US-made patches (8th AF, 9th AF, AF HQ, sgt chevrons, etc) that belonged to the same vet (all in same cigar box) Both were made by the same manufacturer with the same materials. Being British-made would make sense for these two units, but I don't think so. Based on the distinctive thick "springy" border, I believe they are early German-occupation made.
