CNY Militaria Posted March 7, 2007 Share #1 Posted March 7, 2007 Here is a recent uniform find of mine. It is for a US civilian working with the 100th Division in Europe. Has the sewn on "US" patches and traingles, bullion overseas bars, and a bullion and felt 100th Division patch. This is a very nice piece, but unfortunately, the two rows of sewn-on ribbons had been removed at some point along the line. Can anyone speculate what those ribbons could be, or if a civilian was qualified to wear any? Thanks! Justin

Johan Willaert Posted March 7, 2007 Share #4 Posted March 7, 2007 Could it be he served in the military as a member of the 100ID, earning medals along the way (EAME, GCM, etc...) and then serving as a civilian right after WW2?
CNY Militaria Posted March 7, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted March 7, 2007 That could certainly be a possibility Johan. Either way, he had good tatse in his attire and insignia!
