mohawkALSE Posted September 25, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 25, 2019 Cool that it still had the 1574 attached. HAFB can be a few things, too bad the activity didnt reveal more than just 5/9? The other inspection stamps dont have an OMS or FMS listed? Forget which covered Life Support, I know you told me once. I had a LPU-2 that had tons of inspections done to it in the 60s and 70s and they actually listed the abbreviated base IDs like WAFB and GAFB but also had the Mx Sqds designations too like 99th OMS WAFB and 305th OMS GAFB so I knew which bases were the correct letters. I In SAC, life support (the P.E.Shop), came under the supply squadron.
gwb123 Posted September 26, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 26, 2019 Don't forget Hickam AFB, Hawaii. This would make sense as any flight coming or going would be over the ocean.
