local auction item...that had to go home and join the collection

1969 dated With HAFB inspection stamps all throughout it's life...Hill AFB.. Holloman AFB?

a ton of inspection dates starting in the late 60s up until the 80s...pretty good life span

Cool that it still had the 1574 attached. HAFB can be a few things, too bad the activity didnt reveal more than just 5/9? The other inspection stamps dont have an OMS or FMS listed? Forget which covered Life Support, I know you told me once. I had a LPU-2 that had tons of inspections done to it in the 60s and 70s and they actually listed the abbreviated base IDs like WAFB and GAFB but also had the Mx Sqds designations too like 99th OMS WAFB and 305th OMS GAFB so I knew which bases were the correct letters.

In SAC, life support (the P.E.Shop), came under the supply squadron.
