aznation Posted September 17, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 17, 2019 Just thought I'd share this pin I picked up yesterday. I believe it's bakelite. Appears to be a cavalry campaign hat with boots/spurs that dangle from the pin. There's a little bit of yellow color on the braiding of the hat though you can't see it in the picture. I thought it was pretty neat. I was able to get both pins for $5 plus the gas/time it took to pick it up across town. It was on Craigslist. Anyway, I like it/them. bbmilitaria Posted September 17, 2019 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2019 Very cool. I've never seen a campaign hat and cavalry boots sweetheart pin before. This is an area a person could collect for years and still turn up new and interesting items. Thanks for showing.
skypilot6670 Posted September 17, 2019 Share #3 Posted September 17, 2019 Very cool. I suspect it’s collectible as Bakelite and as sweetheart jewelry. Thanks for posting. Mike

aznation Posted September 18, 2019 Author Share #6 Posted September 18, 2019 Thanks for the comments thus far. Paul, here's a pic of the back of the hat and boots. Obviously, I don't believe it's the original pin, but appears to have been on there awhile.
