BOLO Posted September 17, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 17, 2019 maybe the user painted over the symbol to cover it up and the paint used wasnt an exact match giving it a slight shadow effect if the helmet was used by a different unit they may have tried to cover up the old unit by dabbing a little OD paint over it?
