My opinion is that this is a copy. It doesn't match known originals.


I would assume that this is one of the 50th anniversary pieces that has been aged to look much older than it actually is.



Never under-estimate the power of prayer.

Yes it seems also for me a well made repro...... Many were made for D Day commémorations in France, England....40 th 45th etc. D Day anniversary)

Authentic ( or told so by the sellers...) are sold at very high prices (1000/4000 €) Some Normandy sellers are fool. Never a guarantee...... and few buyers... :(

Except finding it in veteran's souvenirs sold by his family, I will keep my reproduction I paid 5€! :D
