Six Weeks in Europe - Vets story of Bastogne

Recommended Posts

Thinking of a friend that has passed on and came across this interview about his life story. I was only six when I met him at our Church and throughout my life I always looked up to him. Latter in my life he shared his story about being a young man fighting in the Battle of the Bulge. The attached link is to an interview he did for the Chandler History Museum. Its a bit long and covers much of his childhood, some where in part 3 he discusses he role in WWII.

RIP John and Ill always remember your kind words and what you and your brother did for our family.

Thank you to all that have served our country and to your families that have sacrificed without your presence at home. Thank you to all that have given their lives for my freedom and to their families that suffer. May God bless you!
