Tonomachi Posted September 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2019 I picked this up at an antique fair and was wondering if anyone recognizes the patch. It looks like an older piece being wool embroidery. I was wondering if it was military like maybe ROTC or maybe a boy scout leader patch. Any ideas? Salvage Sailor Posted September 2, 2019 Share #5 Posted September 2, 2019 Unless the initials are specific to a Mountain Goat or high country Refuge, F.N.R. could be Friends of the National Refuges
mysteriousoozlefinch Posted September 7, 2019 Share #6 Posted September 7, 2019 Might be Fort Niobrara National Wildlife Refuge, created in 1912.
tredhed2 Posted October 1, 2019 Share #7 Posted October 1, 2019 The 3 stars refer to the 3 main island groups in the Philippines; that is a carabao, so this is some Filipino unit patch. I cannot find anything re: the letters, sorry. But this may help those with more expertise in foreign insignia.
