Survival Tool

I have seen several different versions of 50's and 60's SRU-18/P's, but this is the first 1988 contract dated "Survival Tool" I have seen. It has the same 66

drawing / part number on the outer case but on the inside flap it has "Survival Tool". I have seen them called that in manuals, now I know why!

Thats awesome, never saw one marked like that with the contract info as well as being so late dated. Did you ever see they show it as an optional item in the AMSS manuals?
