hink441 Posted August 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 22, 2019 Found this old mug and I believe it dates to the late 1960s to early 1970s when the Squadron was flying the F-4 Phantom out of Thailand during the Vietnam War. The Satan's Angels were a pretty famous fighter squadron with a lot of history during the war. I really like the wood handle, very well made. I have been unable to find any info on the owner of this mug. Mel Patterson from "A" flight remains a mystery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. hink441 Posted August 24, 2019 Author Share #2 Posted August 24, 2019 I still have been unable to find any info on Mel Patterson. I don't even know if he was an aviator or a maintenance type. Chris
