1st Army patch - good or bad ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Gentlemen,I would need your help.I have doubts in originality of these items.I think the honor guard tab is post ww2 and the white cotton on the back of the tab glows - It looks somehow modern made ? What about the 1st Army patches. The thread on the reverse has a glossy shining like synthetic. What do you think ? good or bad ? Thanks in advance.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with you on the tab, but I cant answer on the the others. What I will say is all of the sudden it seems to be an abundence of this First Army patches on the market, which makes me wonder ? It amazes me how some patches are difficult to find although not rare, then every patch dealer seems to have them forsale. I'll be watching this thread to see the answers that follow....

I agree, both are repro. It took a second look, especially on the Signal one. The base material is wrong and the Cav insert is definitely off.
