Navybean Posted August 10, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 10, 2019 This patch came out of a patch group, looks old but there were a lot of bad patches in the group. This appears to be a in country made patch? It does glow. I am Assuming USAF Supply Squadron 6250th? Is it real? worth anything and is it USAF? JBFloyd Posted August 10, 2019 Share #3 Posted August 10, 2019 The 6250th was the base supply squadron at Tan Son Nhut Air Base in the mid-1960s, when the base was under the 6250th Combat Support Group. The 6250th Combat Support Group was redesignated the 377th Combat Support Group in April 1966. Subordinate units would have been redesignated at the same time. So that gives an end-date for the patch.

Randy Posted August 11, 2019 Share #5 Posted August 11, 2019 Yes, typical RVN made. I have seen several of this same unit over the years, made exactly like yours. Jeff nailed all the supporting info. Randy
firefighter Posted August 13, 2019 Share #6 Posted August 13, 2019 Nice hand embroidered ‘quilt’ style patch. Typically seen in the earlier Vietnam made patches. Not as sought after as fighter or special ops units. But yes, worth something. Probably $30-$
