B-17Guy Posted August 7, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 7, 2019 I have a Taylor Eagle Squadron painting the has two signatures, but one I can't seem to ID. I've looked over rosters of 71, 121 and 133 Sqdrn's, but can't make sense of this one. Any Eagle Squadron experts out there have any ideas? I looked at his signature on line after your posting and I agree, slight variation, but also many consistencies. This also explains why I couldn’t find a match on Eagle Squadron rosters. It’s tough when you are looking for a name using a tough to Id signature, very glad you recognized it. By the way, the other signature on the painting is James Goodson. Thanks again JB! JBFloyd Posted August 7, 2019 Share #4 Posted August 7, 2019 Both Goodson and Johnson were prolific signers. Goodson was in the aviation art print business for a number of years in the UK.
