P-59A Posted August 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted August 2, 2019 This was a swapmeet find. It didn't work so I took it in to be fixed. The repair guy couldn't fix the hack function and replaced the second sweep with out asking me. I wasn't happy, but it runs. I do have an original band for it, but I wear it like this. P-59A Posted August 2, 2019 Author Share #2 Posted August 2, 2019 This is the back. Note the difference in the information from other watch's and serial number 00132. My guess is it is a 1948 production run. Later watch's have a 50-, 52- type serial number.

manayunkman Posted August 16, 2023 Share #4 Posted August 16, 2023 Nice piece. What was their reason for changing the second hand, they damaged it?
P-59A Posted August 16, 2023 Author Share #5 Posted August 16, 2023 Thier was no reason. The jewler took it upon himself to do things we never agreed to. He replaced the crystal. I made him put the original back on. The second hand was one of those things. That crystal was a monstasity. It was a full 1/8 inch taller than the original.
