SABK9 Posted July 28, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2019 I’m researching the history of the 32nd Fighter Squadron (Wolfhounds), and try to trace the origin of the unit’s insignia. The story goes that Disney Studios designed the insignia. The Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA) and the Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) could not help me. Could some of you help me? Lee Ragan Posted July 28, 2019 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2019 In the book "Combat Squadrons of the Air Force in World War II, History and Insignia", edited by Maurer Maurer, the image on the right was the official version. I don't know if that answers your question or not, but that's the information I have.

And that is what I try to find out.
