What an amazing grouping. I was able to interview a 442nd vet about 15 years ago. He was from the Philadelphia area and talked about how different his experience was being a Japanese American from the East Coast as compared to the West Coast or Hawaii. Thanks for sharing. Wish I could afford it!

There a couple of photo albums with the group as well, family photos, trips to Japan, his retirement, pics of him as a boy and his wife and kids, and one that I imagine is of his family in Japan before the war.

Looking some sort of count for the number of 442nd POWs, so far I have only found reference to 8 in total.

Anybody have any idea or info on 442nd POWs?

Thanks,

Dwight

Kurt,

Thank you for the link and your efforts. The 8 POWs I found came from the 442nd website; the link you provided has better detail and much broader scope, its getting saved to favorites.

Thanks again
