In regards to comparison to the Studley variant, is the BB&B strike rarer? Sorry, I didn't notice your second post. The so-called Studley variant was produced by J.K. Davison's Sons and it is much more common than the BB & B piece.

This looks like one of the many fake engraved ones that were pumped out several years ago.

The clue here is that there are only 8 acorns on the oak branch, as opposed to 9 on the US Mint piece.
