My USMC collection

Recommended Posts

After a year and a half of collecting here is where I currently stand with my collection. I'd love to have more but with college starting this year, buying is at a standstill. However, I am very proud of what I have acquired over the last year! If you want specific info on any of the pieces please let me know and I'll post it. Thanks for looking!

Thank you to all that have served our country and to your families that have sacrificed without your presence at home. Thank you to all that have given their lives for my freedom and to their families that suffer. May God bless you!

Nice collection! You have a great collection already. As the saying goes, quality over quantity. It looks like you have that figured out.

Just a quick note from a sailor, for undress bluess (different material and cut, no piping) neckerchief is not worn with very few exceptions, and ribbons were not to worn on undress blues.

I wasn't able to go back and edit..

I realize there's no neckerchief displayed with the jumper (just throwing that out there LOL), but the ribbons are a no-no. (equivalent to wearing ribbon rack on fatigues.)

Great display though! Hope the comment wasn't crappy sounding.

Not crappy at all! I appreciate the information. I had seen jumpers in the past with ribbons on them so I just recreated the uniform to honor my grandfather's service and so my family members could see what he earned. Thanks again!
