I like the Airborne berets and collect them when I find them. Here are a few of some of these berets. Please feel free to post any other berets you might have.

Hink,

Very nice berets. Do you think it would be possible to identify the unit that each beret represents? It is nice to see the DI's, the Flashes and the berets all together for once.

Thanks!

1st Squadron 40th Cavalry regiment attached to the 25th Infantry Div

I believe it’s actually 1st Battalion 40th Armored Regiment, or at least when I wore that crest (I was the Medical Platon Leader in 4/40 armor) that was the Unit designation

Good to hear from you.

When were you in? I ask because according to Wiki the 40th Armored Regiment was disestablished in 1997. The 40th Cavalry was established in 2005.

Here is the wiki quote;

"The 40th Armor Regiment was an armored regiment of the United States Army until the inactivation of its last element, its 1st Battalion, in 1997. It was redesignated and reactivated in 2005 as the 40th Cavalry Regiment and assigned to the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division."
