Capt.Confederacy Posted July 22, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 22, 2019 I picked up a wool patch with a group of others a few weeks ago and have not be able to figure out what it is. I assumed that it was a kiddie patch or maybe a BX/PX souvenir patch. However, I found a similar one on Ebay, and it was described as a Navy Reserve patch. Can anyone vouch for that identification? Thanks in advance.

Baron3-6 Posted July 22, 2019 Share #3 Posted July 22, 2019 Personnel that saw combat with the Navy then later crossed over to the Army wore this as a combat patch. Circa Korea. I have not seen any on uniforms made after the 1950's, but there might be some outlier out there. Allan H. Posted July 22, 2019 Share #4 Posted July 22, 2019 Here is a photo of one being worn. I snagged the photo from Patches' ongoing Obscure Patches being Worn thread. Allan
