Hi guys, can you please help me date this M1 helmet, especially the shell? I already found a stamp in the liner (1961) and the Mitchell cover was made by Capitol Fur Inc., so that would be 1967. See below some photos of the shell. The heat stamp is 8711? This is my first helmet, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sure? As there is no I in front of the heat stamp? I thought it might be a Parish Division of Dana Corp. made shell.

Parish Division of the Dana Corporation would be my guess.

Interesting. What makes you think that? Trying to learn.

I would also say late 60’s Parish Division of Dana shell going by the heatstamp/ lot number and 1961 Westinghouse, Micarta liner produced with a MSA mould leased from the Goverment.
