Evening all,

Writing a paper and am in need of as many quotes from Marines during combat in World War II as I can find, or quotes ABOUT Marines which were coined during World War II.

Please fire away, many thanks!

There is always the classic from Eleanor Roosevelt...

“The Marines I have seen around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale, and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marine Corps"
