WWIIBuff1945 Posted June 29, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2019 I was able to pick up this neat little 25 acp Belgian pistol thanks to a tip from a forum member. The vet recently passed and his wife found the gun in a drawer and didn’t know what to do with it. She brought it to the local police to turn in and instead of destroying it, they recommended a gun shop in the area. He purchased it and put it on Gunbroker. Not too much info found on veteran Dwayne Haiflitch so far. I asked the seller if he would contact the wife and see if she would share any info on her husband’s service during the war. I like that he had his initials placed on it. Hopefully, I’ll find out more. I’m looking forward to shooting this little 25. Looks like its a type 1. WWIIBuff1945 Posted July 3, 2019 Author Share #3 Posted July 3, 2019 I received the gun today and was surprised to find it was chrome plated. I didn't realize it was that way but I'm glad because I've always wanted a chrome bring back. The vet even had the magazine plated. Whoever did it did a nice job. I've seen a few for sale but none had the paper work.
