For those not familiar with aircraft carrier operations, the guys and gals up on the flight deck are collectively referred to as 'roof rats'. Now having been on a carrier, but not an aviation type, I'm trying to find out what all is included in the gear those folks up there wear. From my understanding, there is the cranial helmet with goggles, a colored jersey, heavy pants (cammo or dark blue is what I've seen) , The flotation vest (float coat), and steel toed boots. Additionally, on the float coat are a safety light (type dependent upon time frame) a whistle, and a dye marker pack. Other than a tool pouch as applicable to the job, what am I missing? Input requested, please.

Thank you in advance, BPO

Gloves are used by most, and flashlight wands for night work.
