Ant1942 Posted June 22, 2019 Share #3 Posted June 22, 2019 Wow, that's a great local group that's only an hour away from me, and while I don't know the area well, I go to berks every so often. Great find, where'd you find it?
Quest Master Posted June 22, 2019 Author Share #4 Posted June 22, 2019 It all came together from a local picker that does antique hunting. It came with very little provenance, I pieced the history together on Ancestry from USMC Muster Rolls. Each piece of gear and clothing has his name stamped on it. RustyCanteen Posted July 17, 2019 Share #13 Posted July 17, 2019 Very nice grouping. The fact he was an AMTRAC crewman makes that extra interesting I think.

(U.S. Marine Corps Muster Rolls) Unis marking starting with a seven (7) would make sense as that is the 3rd MarDiv's Service Troops. That would cover the Supply, Motor Transport and Medical battalions.
