JakeBird6684 Posted June 14, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 14, 2019 Hi all, I was at a local auction recently and picked up a naval aviator grouping, a little worse for wares. The name of the soldier is Thomas P. McKale and he served on board a sea-plane tending vessil called the USS St. George. This group only came with two jackets and I wanted to complete one of them fully decked out with his medals and buttons (Which have been removed). Any information is greatly apprecitated and would really like to trade for any of the missing parts I need.

ScottG Posted June 15, 2019 Share #6 Posted June 15, 2019 Looks like you have the buttons sitting there on the grey material/pockets? So, from there you need a set of wings and then do some research on him to determine his awards. Scott

36thIDAlex Posted June 15, 2019 Share #24 Posted June 15, 2019 Great info from that birthday article! If you don’t want to order his file from the archives and get his full records, I would just find what awards the ship had and put those on. Not being a flyer I imagine he would just have those and the article would have mentioned anything higher. GEN. David R. Atchinson- MO State Guard ACW PVT. John H. Drury- Co.
