MJRowley Posted June 14, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 14, 2019 I would like to try to identify the ribbon on the bottom right as you are facing them. It was with my father's things. I may not have them in the correct order. He enlisted pre WWII 1938, served in Germany, Belgium, Normany France, England, North Africa and also reserves after WWII Thanks, Mike Rowley
aznation Posted June 14, 2019 Share #2 Posted June 14, 2019 The Army of Occupation Medal is a military award of the United States military which was established by the United States War Department on 5 April 1946. The medal was created in the aftermath of the Second World War to recognize those who had performed occupation service in either Germany, Italy, Austria, or Japan. You're correct, that's probably what they meant. Maybe someone will know what that ribbon on the ribbon bar is on the bottom right.
