I recently picked up a great collection of items directly from a 435th fighter pilot who flew the F4 for 2 tours in Vietnam out of Udorn AFB in Thailand.

 

Does anyone know if these patches were made in Thailand or in Vietnam. The patch with the 435th TFS is U.S. made I think. Not sure where the others were made.

Thanks. That’s what I thought since he was stationed in Thailand but I’ve had some Thai made patches in the past that are fully embroidered and almost look Japanese.

The ones with the white backs were most likely made in Thailand.

 

The blue squadron patch was probably US made and standard issue.
