rd12 Posted June 7, 2019 Share #5 Posted June 7, 2019 These are post Vietnam. This lot was produced in a large quantity, and they all seem to appear as yours. Too much enamel was used and covered up the flintlock and trigger guard. I have a picture of one still on the gov't contract card showing the contract date, I just can't find it right now. Use the search feature and you will see others posted. What I don't know is if they were accepted by the gov't, or if they were rejected and then sold on surplus market...
