CV17-son Posted June 2, 2019 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2019 I discovered this site while doing research to build a scale model of the USS Bunker Hill CV-17 on which my father served during WW2. He was wounded during the kamikaze attacks on May 11, '45, but thankfully not critically. I have searched the site and found some interesting stories concerning the Bunker Hill on this forum and look forward to reading more. I live in Proctorville, OH on the Ohio River just across from Huntington, WV, home of the Marshall University Thundering Herd which was featured in the movie WE ARE.... MARSHALL several years ago.
