nicolas75 Posted May 27, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2019 Hello I went across this can but looking for additional informations : - First question : was this kind of opening litf and close handle system in use during ww2 ? or only the flat screw one ? - Second question : What is the "B" Manufacturer ? - Third question : it's uncommun that this "B" manufctaurer began the production of this can in May 1945 then Russakov end the job in assembling it so late in July 1950 ? After the war, when thousands of US jerry cans came on the surplus market, many were modified with a German/English type spout for use in delivering heating oil. This commercial modification was made so they would be more leakproof than the US-style screw on lids (...) " But still looking for who is the "B" manufacturer ?
