The IFR Training goggles…… I had never seen these before…… It beats a dark blanket for sure!

No body was watching and no body bid on them… I picked them up for 10 bucks.. And the rubber is good on them.

Not at all deteriorated. Captains name inside and address in North Carolina.

As far as the cost of putting the rest of it all together piece by piece???

Dont want to think about it. Im happy with it all though.

My Son had never seen anything like it in person and neither had I.

Its the 5 Amigos now!

2 M5 flak Helmets. 1 M4 2 M3's

3 -A11's 2 with earphones and 1without. 2A-13's

etc etc etc etc etc

The 5 Amigo's !!!

The goggles on the lower right are navy recon goggles for spotting submarines from aircraft.

By sliding the leverat the top, they eliminate glare.

I tested then on the hood on my car on a sunny day.

They eliminated white glare. you have to slide the lever to fine adjust. They come in a blue tinbox.

They are somewhat rare. Much more so than the red lens variable density goggles which are for ground troops.

Excellent display Rooster.

I love the walk around bottles and the Flak helmets. Something I need to add to my collection. Trying to find a nice M-3 with all the flocking without breaking the bank..

Great Job!!

That is true. They are bailout bottles. Thank you all for the comments. I sold one.

But I still have 4 left. Ive made some changes to them here and there.

I sold the M3 with the orange goggles.

I'l try to get some recent pics posted on here soon of how they are set up now.

Cheers !
