M1 carbine restoration

Took me some time, but she's nearly finished. Mixmaster of IBM receiver (731xxxx), Inland trigger group, Inland undated barrel and Q-RMC high-wood stock. Legal demil.

Looks great! The guy I bought mine from had put polyurathane on the stock and I'm going to remove it. What did you do to yours to get the stock looking so good? Thanks. Steve

Nice rebuild! Check your receiver though. IBM serial numbers were from 3651xxx to 4009xxx. Only Inland & Winchester had numbers assigned to 7 mil.

For stock refinishing I use CitriStrip (Lowes) & Mil Spec stock stain refinisher.

That was a typo :lol: serial number is in the 370XXXX range... My bad!

Steve, I did nothing to the stock. Just a light cleaning and some gun oil.
