ThompsonSavage Posted May 14, 2019 Share #1 Posted May 14, 2019 Took me some time, but she's nearly finished. Mixmaster of IBM receiver (731xxxx), Inland trigger group, Inland undated barrel and Q-RMC high-wood stock. Legal demil.
lfwises Posted May 14, 2019 Share #2 Posted May 14, 2019 Looks great! The guy I bought mine from had put polyurathane on the stock and I'm going to remove it. What did you do to yours to get the stock looking so good? Thanks. Steve
sundance Posted May 14, 2019 Share #3 Posted May 14, 2019 Beautiful carbine. Always hurts a little when we hear it must be demiled (or is it demilled).
usmcdoc67 Posted May 14, 2019 Share #4 Posted May 14, 2019 Nice rebuild! Check your receiver though. IBM serial numbers were from 3651xxx to 4009xxx. Only Inland & Winchester had numbers assigned to 7 mil. For stock refinishing I use CitriStrip (Lowes) & Mil Spec stock stain refinisher.
