Memorial Day display at mall. May 24-25

If anyone is in the Pembroke Pines Fl. Area. Our organization will be doing a display in our local mall in honor of our fallen service members. This is our 3rd Years doing this display. Location Pembroke Lakes Mall May 24th and 25th.

 

A small display but many people are reminded of Memorial Day.

The good thing about south Florida there are a lot of WW 2, Korea veterans are here. The uniforms and relics we display all have their own story, so it is a way of keeping the story going.

 

Last year we did a small presentation on Memorial Day followed by a video of Loyce Deen. ( please look up his tribute very powerful)

This had many people in tears as we spoke of the sacrifice of our military. And we try to remind others that there is at war.

 

We get relative and former military come up and share their family stories. I had the opportunity to meet two marines from the chosen reservoir and one from Patton’s unit.

 

It is a great privilege to Honor our fallen

We also got a chance to do a display for the VA in Miami Fl for their military appreciation day.

A lot of stories that day I could listen to them all.
