This is probably one of the hardest to find pieces of enlisted collar brass there is.

 

Made for the US Army Pigeon Service / Pigeon Corps.

 

Pre-war manufacture, and is screw back.

This is the only piece of metal insignia I have ever seen for the Pigeon Corps.

Eric, just found it in a bag, in box, in my home office closet. Still with all the other super cool collar disc I got out of Scippio's collection.
