tarheel1 Posted May 6, 2019 Share #6 Posted May 6, 2019 Actually the Wright Brothers Memeorial is in Kill Devil Hills or as the locals say "KDH". (Nags Head is the next town further South) I was there today! Well worth a visit if anyone is in the area. USARV72 Posted May 6, 2019 Share #7 Posted May 6, 2019 Yea, while technically correct about “Kill Devils Hill”, years ago everybody just called it all Nags Head , as in, Hey, lets go to Nags Head this weekend”. Friends family owned businesses there, good times in the 60’s- 70’s.....Way to crowded now.
